A Reader’s Workshop to Approach Test Readiness uses leveled text to give elementary students the effective reading strategies they need for standardized test success.

  • Each lesson develops student test-taking strategies through systematic approaches to learning.
  • Four leveled passages in each lesson (below, approaching, at, and above test level) allow educators to differentiate instruction based on students’ independent reading levels.
  • Robust notes in the Teacher’s Edition enable educators to implement research-based instructional practices and adapt them to meet classroom needs.
  • Formative assessments and a practice test monitor student progress and measure success.
