Kaplan K12 professional development workshops build educator capacity to implement Kaplan K12 programs in schools and in classrooms.

Professional development can include ways to:

  • analyze standards-aligned curriculum
  • build a repertoire of instructional strategies
  • understand how to effectively deliver the Kaplan K12 curriculum
  • monitor student progress
  • utilize best implementation practices


A professional development session can include:

  • initial introduction to the Kaplan K12 methodology and pedagogical best practices
  • collaborative activities that allow participants to actively apply their learning and to share knowledge
  • activities grounded in participant questions, inquiry, and research
  • application of lessons via modeling and problem solving
